Join Our In-Depth Shas Learning Program
Starting this Elul: We will begin Mesechta Shabbos.
Focused Learning: Delve into the Sugyahs of Shas with in-depth analysis.
Shiur Schedule:
Meets 3 times a week on Zoom.
Each shiur is approximately 1 hour.
Moreh Makamos will be provided before each shiur.
Chavrusa Learning: For optimal results, spend an additional hour learning with a chavrusa.
Engaging Shiur: Expect thorough, interactive sessions with plenty of back-and-forth.
Optional Bikiyus Track:
Cover 2 blatt per week in Mesechta Shabbos.
Rabbi Shafier’s recorded shiurim available online to watch or listen at your convenience.
A total of about 5 hours a week learning
Shiur Overview and Schedule
Learning Pace: Approximately 2 weeks per Sugyah.
Focus:
Explore the Rishonim in depth.
Address key issues within each Sugyah.
Schedule:
Shiur meets on Zoom at 9:00 PM EST.
Sessions held on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights.
Missed a Shiur? Recordings will be available for any missed sessions.
Start date: Sunday, Sept 5th 9:00 PM EST (Elul 5)
The moreh Makomos will be given out typically before the sugyah starts. The first week the focus of the shiur will be setting up the Rishonim and introducing the central issue. The 2nd week will be devoted to the novel understanding and concepts learned from the Sugyah.
